Welcome to the Blue Dogs web site...and we wish you a happy 2008, which marks the 20th year since Hank Futch joined the Blue Dogs to make the band complete. We are still playing, although staying a little closer to home these days, and not touring around the country as much as we once did. But we are still here. We have 9 cd's and 1 DVD in case you haven't kept up, and you can look forward to the release of our new DVD, "Live at the Dock Street Theatre...again!" from our Nov 2005 show there. The DVD should be out sometime this year and will be exclusively available at our online store, accessible here!
Now that Spring has sprung, please keep up with our calendar, which will have information on upcoming shows. You can also sign up for our periodic emailer here...look for the link below.
And take a moment to check out our new and improved online store, which has a new design and layout and storefront for your shopping pleasure. We hope to see you or hear from you soon. Thanks for stopping by.

Many thanks to the people of our hometown of Charleston for once again (third time, second year running) voting us in the Charleston City Paper Charleston's best band from the area. We are honored, especially considering the amazing talent from such local bands (playing original music) as Leslie, The Working Title, and Red Handed who are doing big things out there in the music world. Nonetheless, we appreciate the gesture perhaps to our longevity and work ethic, and we vow to continue to play hard! Thanks everyone.
