Blue Dogs Inducted into Lowcountry Music Hall of Fame

On Sunday, October 28, at 1pm in Hanahan SC at the Hanahan Outdoor Amphitheater, the Blue Dogs joined Charleston legends Ann Caldwell, Bobby Alvarez, Charlie Thompson and many other musicians in being inducted into the Lowcountry Music Hall of Fame. Started in 2015 by a Michael Davis, owner of the local music store Ye Olde Music Shoppe, the event honors musicians, music advocates, and music organizations including music venues and promoters who have helped create the music scene in the Charleston area over the years. Bobby Houck and Hank Futch will be on hand to accept their award, and they will perform a couple of songs with Thompson after their induction. They are accepting on behalf of founding members Buck Bradberry and Chris Holden, as well as long time members who, although not currently in the regular lineup of the band, figured prominently in the band over the years--Phillip Lammonds, Greg Walker, and David Stewart.
